Come join the fun at Ski Round Top for a AFTERNOON & night of snow
tubing. They supply the tube and an easy ride to the top of the hill
on their new magic carpet! You supply the laughter as soon as you
zoom down the hill! Fun for kids of all ages. Separate slopes keeps
you safe.
We will make a food stop before
returning home. So bring money.

Our Youth
Welcome to the St John's Lutheran Church Youth Group's website! Our youth advisor are Charlie Johns & JoNan Shirk. This year, more than ever, we'll be using technology like e-mail and this website to inform you about events in the youth group... we're going to have a great year!
St John's Lutheran in Maytown has one of the most awesome youth groups around! Our members come from five different school district, attending Sunday School, Sunday Contemporary Service. Check out the upcoming events, and stop on by, we'd love to have you! Our CIA (Christ In Action) group advisor is Vickie McConnell, First to Fifth Grades,
St John's Youth Group is open to all youth from First Grade to High School. Some of our youth don't regularly attend Church at St John's. We encourage you to come if you can, but church membership is not a deterrent from your participation in St John's Youth Group. All are welcome.
We welcome any and all youth who wish to participate in our activities. We also welcome any adult volunteers who want to help out!

Elementary Age Children in First Grade to 5th Grade

All Meetings are on the 3rd Saturday of the month at 9:00 AM to 10:30 AM.

Catechetics This group is for youth in sixth, seventh and eight grades (Junior High School) and for those enrolled in the confirmation class.
Advisor are: Pastor Bob
A NEW YOUTH CATECHETICAL CLASS
..will begin meeting in September 2012. Those who are eligible for the class are youth in 6th, 7th, and 8th grade. If anyone else is in grade 6 or above, this September, you, too, are welcome to join the class. Just say something to Pastor. (Also – if any 6th graders would rather wait two years 2014 to start catechetics, please tell Pastor.)
Originally, Catechetical instruction begins in 7th grade, but the Christian Education Committee decided to invite 6th graders, so that the class would have more than three students and so that the church might recognize and reflect the “middle school” class, 6th, 7th, and 8th grouping and the earlier maturity of many of today’s children and youth.

Senior High This is the group for youth in ninth through twelfth grades. We usually have one service project and one social activity each month
