Fellowship Committee
St John’s is a small church - with a
small congregation – with a big heart. We care very much about
each other.
For anyone who attends this church
who does not feel a part of this group, please step forward!
Please grab our attention. Let us know you would like to socialize
with us!
We have asked several members of other congregations if their
church has a Fellowship Committee. They do not – yet we do! The
objective of our Fellowship
Committee is to create an event that brings our congregation
together in a social setting.

Worship & Music Committee
 |
This committee
plan for upcoming worships and anything
that pertains to worship including music, banners, sound, special
events, etc. Assists the church council in
seeing that the services of God's house are conducted regularly and
in accordance with the liturgy of the ELCA, that competent servers
(ushers, lay assistants, lay readers. Serve on the Altar Committee
that prepares our chancel for worship. Be an
acolyte, communion assistant and others) are recruited and
trained, and that hymnals and other worship materials are provided
and properly cared for.
This committee also supervises the choirs and musicians of the
congregation. It arranges for the care of the paraments, vestments,
and musical instruments. In consultation with the pastors, the
organists, and the music leaders, it oversees the acquisition of
music and related equipment appropriate for use in the worship of a
congregation of the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America.
The committee meets the 3rd Thursday of each month at 7:00 P.M. at
the church.
