MUSICIANS WANTED
Our
Praise Band, which leads worship on the third and fifth Sundays of each month,
would welcome more players of instruments, to augment our sound. Do you play
the drums or some other instrument that would sound well with a contemporary
band? If so – PLEASE say something to Pastor or Keith. It’s a lot of fun and
would help us to lift up a joyful noise unto the Lord!
IT’S NOT TOO LATE
…to join the Senior Choir. Just show up on Wednesday at 7:30 pm and we’ll give you a comfy seat in the loft. No experience necessary.
JUNIOR CHOIR
…will begin rehearsals at 6:45 pm on October 3rd. See Janet Mohr or Keith Smith if you have a question.
SOCIAL MINISTRY COMMITTEE
…will meet in the Social Hall at 7:00 pm tomorrow night with a large agenda of items to discuss. All members of the committee are asked to attend so that all the business can be conducted.

ALTAR FLOWER DONORS!
Anyone
who signs up to provide flowers for our altar has three or more options as
sources.
Donors are always welcome to secure their own flowers from whatever florist (or home garden!) they choose, and the church need not get involved. Diane still needs to hear from you as to what you want in the bulletin; you need to make sure the florist has a church key for delivery, or you need to bring them yourself; and please remember the appropriate color combination for the season of the church year, so flowers do not “clash” with paraments.
Or, you can have flowers ordered by Diane, if you tell her early in the week, and she will call one of the three florists that have a key. These florists are: Janet’s Flowers of Columbia, Royer’s Flowers of Columbia and Floral Design of Mount Joy. The three florists have different basic charges, timelines, and possibilities, and Diane can fill you in so that you can choose what fits your expectations. Thanks for beautifying our worship.
